Celebrities are paid very well to appear in commercials and, I don’t think that they would do a commercial unless they were getting paid. And the star/actor doesn’t necessarly have to believe in the product, but they just have to make it look like they believe in it to get you to buy it. So when we ask the question “Does Alternative Medicine work,” and then find out that there are celebrities that have turned to alternative medicine and are using it and not getting paid, well, it’s like finding out what car Derick Jeter really drives rather than a Ford or, discovering Michael Jordan in a pair of Fruit of the Loom boxers instead of Hanes.
I found the following article both enjoyable and aggravating at the same time- enjoyable because some of you that still need convincing about the effectivness of alternative medicine will now probably be convinced that it must work since your favorite actor uses it- and aggravating, because many people in America can’t think for themselves unless they have the famous face telling them it’s ok.
