I have just ran across this rather interesting video about a Natural high blood pressure treatment by a company out in Fremont California called Detorex. Now I just found this so, I have not tried it to see if it works. It would be wonderful if it does but not without some careful research. So this post will be a first in an ongoing series on Detorex, so check back soon with more of my findings.
On the website (http://detorex.com/ they claim Detorex will “Lower your blood pressure naturally & quickly, break down fats & cholesterol, improve blood circulation & stop Heart Attack or Stroke In As Little As 30 Days… Without the Damaging Side Effects of Drugs!”
First, I want you to go check out this short video and pay close attention to the voice over…..
I don’t mean to be critical but doesn’t this guy sound like a robot? The first flag goes up when you’re trying to sell a natural product with a computer generated voice over! I then went over to the site and at first glance noticed a lot of misspelled words. I’ll let you come to your own conclusions about that…
Here’s the long and short: Detorex is basically a holistic high blood pressure pill that contains the following natural ingredients:
Hawthorn berry extract
Ginkgo Biloba Extract
Green Tea Extract
For right now, well just cover the first two components:
L-arginine releases nitric oxide into your system that relaxes the blood vessels. This may or may not be a good thing, as studies have shown L-arginine to be both benificial and harmful on some individuals.
Here’s a great report on L-arginine:
“L-arginine is used to make nitric oxide (a compound that relaxes the blood vessels). Although some studies suggest that L-arginine may benefit certain health conditions, other research shows that L-arginine may have harmful effects on some individuals.”
“According to the NIH, there’s not yet enough evidence to rate the effectiveness of L-arginine in treatment of migraines, dementia, high blood pressure, male infertility, and the common cold. It’s also unknown whether L-arginine can boost the immune system and/or improve athletic performance.”
Hawthorn Berry Extract
Article by Ray Shaelian, MD
“This herb acts as a vasodilator, increasing blood supply to the heart and improving circulation to the extremities by decreasing arterial resistance. Hawthorn also has positive inotropic and beta-blocking effects, along with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. One human study show hawthorn to be affective in lowering blood pressure in patients with diabetes.”
Details about the remaining ingredients, some of which I highly recommend on their own in this new post read here and some more interesting information about the Detorex manufacturing company that you may or may not want to hear about.
I’m still waiting to know if anyone out there has tried Detorex Natural High Blood Pressure Treatment, that’s not affiliated with the company?
