The CDC (Center for Disease Control ) has recently announced that 1 in 88 children now have Autism. But according to autism and special needs expert Shelley Tzorfas, the numbers are way off since no one under 12 years old was counted in this study. What are the real numbers and what is the hidden agenda behind this “new math?”

CDC Autism Statistics 2012: Kids under 12 not Counted in Study
by Shelley Tzorfas: The Center for Disease Control recently announced that 1 in 88 children in the United States now have Autism. Many were shocked at the escalation of Autism in the last few years, but some of us were shocked at the number. It seems inadequate to make this claim. The issue is that this number was based on children who were born in the year 2000 and were looked at in the year 2008. It was based on children who were eight years old in 2008 and it was handed to us as a “new” and latest finding in the spring of 2012. Therefore it was four years old by the time they released the information.
To my understanding it was based on children who were well enough to function in public school. Many children who cannot speak or wash themselves are in private school for Autism or not in school at all. Some lucky children with classic autism are homeschooled, and the less fortunate ones are institutionalized. This study left those children out of the numbers.
As aware as some of us think we are, most do not realize that pregnant mothers have been routinely vaccinated to prevent the flu. That is like vaccinating a fetus. Flu shots contain mercury under the name of thimerosal. The children who were vaccinated while still in the fetus stage were specifically not included in the 1 in 88, and I personally anticipate a large escalation from that factor alone.
What happened to the days when a pregnant woman had to ask her doctor if she could take so much as an aspirin because it might affect the fetus? According to the CDC, “To prevent influenza and complications in pregnant women, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices-ACIP- in 2004 began recommending routine immunization of pregnant women with the flu shot of any stage of pregnancy.” They then claim that “Influenza Vaccine will protect pregnant women, their unborn babies, and protect the baby after birth.”
Autism affects many more boys than girls. The ratio is between 5:1 and 4:1, depending upon which study you choose to rely on. The 1 in 88 equates to approximately 1 in every 54 boys, boys who were eight years old in 2008, now around the age of 12, well enough to be in public school. This means that children from age 1-11 are NOT included in the rate.
The Center for Disease Control also found that the rate happens to be much higher in New Jersey. In New Jersey the number is 1 in every 49 children. This equates to approximately 1 in every 29 boys who are now 12 years old, and well enough to be in public school. read more here
Not included in the article, Shelley also had the following to say: “The CDC admits that 1 in 49 children are Autistic in NJ. This number equates to 1 in every 29 boys. This number did not count children under 12 years old nor children who were vaccinated while still a fetus since 2004. How can the medical community keep pushing a party-line that autism is not associated when autism increases radically with every new vaccine? Do you think your doctor knows that the 70 vaccines contain aluminum, embalming fluid, polysorbate, ether, formaldehyde and other strangely toxic ingredients? Do not accept autism as a “Normal” part of childhood. It was rare until the late 1980′s.”

Correlation doesn’t equate causation. Just because kids get vaccinated doesn’t mean they get Autism from it! Pascal used to inject people with LIVE CULTURES. Hell they did that up until the 60′s for everything. And you know, nobody talks about 50 year olds or 40 year olds or 60 year olds with Aspergers/Autism. No, just the younger generation.
The rise in Autism spectrum disorder is from having put it in the DSM. Once they have a name, the numbers with the condition would rise. These kids would have been labelled ADHD about 20 years ago. 30 years ago they would have been given the moniker of “Developmentally Delayed” or “Disabled” and marginalized. In the 50′s they would been labelled retarded and institutionalized. A condition doesn’t just mysteriously arrise. ADD used to be called “Minimal Brain Dysfunction’.
Another problem with this article is the assumption of what Autism is, it’s a spectrum disorder. Meaning from kids who are so closed off from the world they can’t feed themselves, to kids who have behavioral problems and social issues. That’s quite a large margin for 1 in 88 kids to have Autism. Just a FYI.
Autism has gone from approximately 1 in 110 to 1 in 88 in a few short years and communities, for the purpose of educating the children, are shying away from labeling the children as best as they can because it cost more money to provide special education services. The article points out that the really high functioning kids are not counted. It is admitted that 1 in 6 now have developmental Disabilities and 1 in 5 Neurological Impairment. Call it what you want , we did not have this many ill children. The response given is one that is academic in nature. We did not have so many chronically ill children until the late 1980′s. There are more than 9 vaccines that were added to the schedule since 1997, Pneumonia shots for tiny infants among them.

Here’s what has to be most worrisome for the vaccination manufacturers…. Several court rulings have recently been decided in favor of the plaintiff… a vaccination in these cases was determined the cause of autism for these particular children…. I predict, we will be seeing the attorney ads on TV soon…

Great input chaoticpix93. WE can play with numbers all the time and when we use the DSM as you have said we change how we look at people as well. I have people in my family with mental health issues and the doctors have changed the diagnosis several times as different conditions have been added to that book.
I work in the special needs sector and many would say that the spectrum aspect of it could include a huge part of the population but for me it is important to help those that are really cut off and in their own world. I personally would not put it all up to vaccinations either. We have a lot of other contaminants around us that were never their historically. It would be interesting to look at numbers in communities that are far less developed to see what the rise or not is.
