Answer: Money
The Food and Beverage Industry has doubled their lobbyist spending in the last 3 years, winning war after war with our “out of shape” government at both state and federal levels.
Despite overwhelming proof that obesity is the most serious of all health risks, junk food commercials targeted at our kids continue to be aired.
Does our government care? We can chew the fat on that subject in another article soon.
